C. W. "Charlie" Lewis, SR began selling new Chevrolets in Alderson, WV in the 1930’s. He opened Hanna Chevrolet on Washington St. in downtown Lewisburg in 1934. He was followed by his son, C. W. "Bill" Lewis, JR and in 1970 a new facility was opened on Route 219 North and re-named Bill Lewis Motors. C. W. "Chuck" Lewis, III became the dealer in 1989 and remains in that position today.
